The publicity officer is responsible for the media presence and reach of the society. They will be in charge of creating posters and other media to be used to reach new members and to communicate with existing members about events. They should be a creative and have an attention to detail when creating their work. Some experience in design and willingness to learn will be very helpful in this role, as well as experience with social media admin. The society has various social media which they use to communicate with members. It is likely that attendance at events will be expected.
