The General Secretary arranges and documents the weekly committee meetings; including booking meeting rooms, making polls to ensure maximum committee attendance, creating agendas, taking minutes and ensuring that they are distributed to the whole committee. They also write the weekly email to the band with important updates, and monitor email enquiries from members and external groups through the society email account. They are also responsible for writing risk assessments and submitting events for all non-social activities (e.g. concerts and rehearsals), as well as supporting other committee members with general admin associated with their roles. The General Secretary is also instrumental in the admin elements associated with SWUCBF and Tour.
