As President, the buck stops with you. It's your job to ensure that everyone in the committee and the society as a whole are happy and that all aspects of the company run as smoothly as possible. Good communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to support all other members of the committee as and when they require it, so you should be able and willing to turn your hand to whatever the task requires. Alongside the rest of the committee, you have the responsibility of choosing the creative direction of the company, which often means making tough decisions as to what is best for the society. Finally, you act as the face of Theatre with Teeth in meetings with the Guild, other societies, and external companies with which the society has a working relationship. A friendly, dedicated, ambitious and professional manner is key. Don’t just be a President who claims credit, you must spearhead the initiative.
We also accept candidates running together for the position of Co-President. If you have any questions you can reach out to our current Co-Presidents Daniel Siner (dgs205) and Jack Gregory (jg929).
