The Academic Secretary liases with the Department of Biosciences to organise events to benefit students. These include events like the bi-weekly Passions and Paths seminars.

The Academic Secretary attends these and hosts the session with the aim to inspire students on their future career path. Communication with external speakers is involved along with organisational skills to plan these events.
