Election Information

It is now time to elect a new committee for 2025-2026! We thank the current committee for their hard work this year and look forward to another great year for EUSO and EUSWO! We will be holding elections for the following roles: President, Vice president, Treasurer, General Secretary, Social Secretary, Publicity officer, Outreach officer, Tour manager, Librarian, EUSWO secretary, Welfare and accessibility officer, Concert manager.

If you would like to nominate yourself for a position, please submit a short manifesto talking about why you are running for the role and what you can bring to it!

If you would like to run for a position as a pair, please follow the guidance below:

1. Decide which of the pair is going to create the profile: only one of you needs to do this.

2. Once you’ve decided, nominate yourself for the role as an individual.

3. You’ll then be invited to fill in your ‘Candidate profile’ – this is an opportunity to include a photo and a manifesto – but also allows you to select your ‘Candidate name’ – change this from just your own name to the names of both of you.

4. Once elected, only the person who filled out the profile will appear on the committee list initially, so the current President will email the Guild to update this on the system to include both of you in the role.

Once you have nominated yourself for a position, you will then be asked to introduce yourself to the orchestra at the AGM on 6th May at 6pm in Kay House.
