Overall Purpose:

Be the committee's compass through the ever-changing landscape of current events. You'll write weekly content and/or edit submissions, and spark discussions that keep members informed and engaged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Curation:
  • Source and select high-quality content related to current affairs (articles, videos, podcasts, etc.).
  • Identify and analyze emerging news stories relevant to the committee's interests.
  • Craft clear, concise summaries and commentary to generate discussions.
• Member Engagement:
  • Encourage member contributions (articles, opinions, etc.) on current affairs.
  • Edit and refine member-submitted content related to current affairs, ensuring clarity and adherence to editorial guidelines.
