The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial health of the society. This role includes budgeting for events, tracking income and expenses, applying for funding or grants, and ensuring responsible use of the society’s resources. You’ll work closely with the President and Events team to approve spending, maintain financial records, and produce financial reports when needed. The Treasurer also liaises with the students’ union (or relevant institution body) for reimbursements and funding applications. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, reliable, and comfortable handling numbers and logistics.
