The Vice President role involves working with the President to support and lead the rest of the committee, as well as the wider CU. You will be responsible for running centrals each week alongside the President and will also run committee meetings once a week. Together with the rest of the committee, you will make sure that as a CU we stick to the vision set at the beginning of the year. You will also organise and run the ECU Weekend Away which happens in October. This will involve communicating with the activity centre, speakers and other subcommittee/committee members involved, and planning other activities for the weekend. A couple of great skills to have for the VP role would be good communication, the ability to listen well, being able to come alongside and be a support to others and most importantly having a passion for the vision of the CU!
