Set the EACAS 2026/27 budget prior to the start of the academic year 

Seek additional internal and external funding opportunities

Review and authorise/reject expenses of committee/society members

Review all committee spending using AccessEVO and produce reports at the bi-termly committee meetings

Review previous years' budget and identify areas of future expenditure

Proactively engage with all society activities and be an active member of the organisation of events that require funding

Attend guild-facilitated training events relevant to the role

Be responsible for EACAS VAT responsibilities as per the new Guild directives (as of August 2026)
