As Outreach Secretary, you will be responsible for ensuring that all activities run by Contemporary Choir are accessible to all of our members and prospective members, and ensuring that wellbeing and inclusivity are at the heart of all our events and activities. You will also be responsible for contacting other groups or societies that the society wishes to collaborate with; Guild societies, local schools, other University groups etc.

As Outreach Secretary, you take the lead on finding and organising extra small performance opportunities, assisting the Publicity Secretary with running information stands on campus and helping Contemporary Choir to reach members of the university community that are typically hard to reach. In order to help our choir to look more like our university!  The Outreach Secretary also takes the lead on welfare within Contemporary Choir, working with the Guild to increase awareness of the resources and support available to members.

All committee positions are also expected to volunteer to help with setting up rehearsals and other events, and any other miscellaneous tasks that need doing! This helps share out the workload amongst the committee, making it more manageable for everyone.
