Role Summary:
As Welfare Secretary, you will be responsible for supporting the well-being of community members. This includes promoting mental health, inclusion, and a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. You will be a key point of contact for students who may need support or guidance, and you’ll work to make sure their voices are heard.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize welfare-related events (e.g., mental health days, relaxation sessions, wellness workshops).

Promote an inclusive and friendly atmosphere in the community.

Collaborate with university support services and signpost students to available resources.

Gather feedback from students on welfare issues and communicate concerns to the committee.

Ensure all events consider accessibility and well-being.

If you’re compassionate, a good listener, and care about helping others feel safe and supported, this role is for you. Experience in peer support, mental health advocacy, or event organizing is a bonus—but not required.
