Marketing and Promotion: Manage the society's social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) to share updates, announcements, and photos/videos of rehearsals and performances. Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and use social media analytics to track engagement and reach. Ensure that Legion maintains its branding, maintaining a consistent visual identity across all promotional materials and platforms.
Collaboration with Other Officers: Work closely with other committee members, such as the president, social secretary, and treasurer, to coordinate publicity efforts with overall organisational goals and objectives. Collaborate with other societies publicity secretary to make collaboration posts, sticking to Legions and their own branding.
Overall, the publicity officer plays a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of the university dance society, attracting new members, audiences, and opportunities.
