Financial Management: Handling the society's budget, including income, expenses, and funding allocations. Tracking and recording all financial transactions, dues, and membership fees.
Budget Planning: Collaborating with the committee to develop and manage the annual budget. Allocating funds for various activities, events, costumes, and competitions.
Fundraising and Sponsorships: Identifying opportunities for fundraising events or securing sponsorships to support the society's financial needs.
Payment Management: Overseeing payments, reimbursements, and financial commitments to vendors, or competition fees. Ensuring timely payment of bills and invoices. Liaising with the Guild.
Compliance and Documentation:Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, university guidelines, and society's financial policies. Managing financial documentation, receipts, and necessary paperwork.
Financial Planning and Forecasting: Assisting in long-term financial planning and forecasting for the society's growth and sustainability.
Treasurer plays a vital role in organising any event that involves finance and will work closely with the President.
