Competition Liaison: Arrange transportation, accommodation, and other logistics necessary for the society's participation in off-campus competitions.
Event Planning: Strategise and plan the society's participation in dance competitions and performances, including logistics, scheduling, registration, and entry requirements.
Team Coordination: Assist in organising rehearsals, ensuring fair and transparent processes, and effective team dynamics.
Resource Management: Manage budget allocations for competition fees, costumes, travel expenses, and any other necessities required for the competitions. Treasurer and President have this responsibility but must be considered.
Logistics Management: Arrange transportation, accommodation, and other logistics necessary for the society's participation in off-campus competitions.
Support and Mentorship: Offer support, guidance, and encouragement to team members throughout the preparation process, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment.
Performance Evaluation: Facilitate constructive feedback sessions post-competition, assessing team performance, and identifying areas for improvement. Coaches are responsible for feedback, but you must provide a platform.
Networking and Partnerships: Build relationships with other dance societies, potential sponsors, and industry professionals to explore collaboration opportunities and enhance the society's visibility.
Competition Research: Stay updated on upcoming competitions, industry trends, and standards to ensure the society's participation aligns with current expectations.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with competition rules and regulations, including necessary paperwork, waivers, and permissions.
