As treasurer, you'll work closely with the presidents, social secs and general secs in order to manage society finances. This includes drawing up budgets for events and stash, approving society expenses and making sure that you're delivering society activities cost-effectively and at the best price for our members. You are also responsible for keeping an eye out for sponsorship opportunities, and new ways to secure funding for the society. The Guild provide you with all the training and information you need, so don't worry if you have absolutely no background in managing finances - the role is a great way to learn these skills.
