The Freshers’ Representative is the voice of first-year students within the Ukrainian Society and a key link between freshers and the committee. The main responsibilities involve representing first-year members’ interests, helping them feel welcomed and included, and supporting the committee with a range of tasks, from promoting events and encouraging attendance to assisting with event organisation and on-the-day coordination. The role also includes gathering feedback from freshers, answering questions, and helping new members understand how the society works. As part of this, the Freshers’ Representative may contribute to collaborations with other societies and help strengthen the wider Ukrainian community on campus.
