The President is the main representative and spokesperson for the society. They’ll lead committee meetings, as well as the AGM and any EGMs, helping to guide discussions and make sure everyone’s voice is heard. Working closely with their elected representative officer, the President represents the society at relevant meetings and events.

They take the lead on promoting and developing the society, helping it grow and thrive. It’s also their job to make sure the society follows The Guild’s Byelaws and the guidelines or policies set by the Activities Team. The President will ensure that Students for Life continues to represent its members and cause to the best of its ability.

The President is responsible for completing and approving the society’s financial forms, and they’ll be the main point of contact for any communication from the Activities Team.
