This role combines two pre-existing roles to create more flexibility and efficiency within the society. This role has 3 positions to be filled, and in Term one of the 2025/2026 Academic Year, the society will also recruit Junior Journal Editors. 

Academic Representative and Journal Editor

• Organising academic talks with external speakers termly.
• Focusing in covering historical months such as Black History Month and LGBTQ+ Month.
• Ensure good relations with the department is maintained.
• Collect and publish articles in term 1 and 2 in our online journal.
• Support the Academic Officer in organising Academic talks and events.
• Organise and manage all junior journal editors.
