As an Events & Engagement Coordinator, you’ll help shape the social experience of the MATLAB & Simulink Society. This role is all about bringing people together and building a vibrant community through engaging activities.

You’ll take the lead on planning and delivering a range of events — from relaxed socials and study sessions to off-campus trips and collaborative meetups. This is a great role for someone who enjoys event planning, teamwork, and student life.

Responsibilities include:

• Organising and running socials, trips, and other fun events
• Finding and booking suitable venues
• Working with the Marketing Officer to promote events effectively
• Supporting the Treasurer with budgeting and event planning
• Helping to grow and maintain an inclusive, welcoming atmosphere
