The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial side of the MATLAB & Simulink Society. You’ll ensure that our events, workshops, and socials are financially viable, well-budgeted, and aligned with Students’ Guild procedures. From applying for funding to tracking spending, you'll be a key figure in helping the society grow sustainably.

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, responsible, and confident working with numbers or spreadsheets. While no prior experience is necessary, a strong sense of accountability is essential.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and managing the society’s annual budget
• Tracking all income and expenditure
• Submitting funding requests to the Students’ Guild
• Supporting the Events Coordinators with budget planning
• Ensuring financial transparency for all society activities

As a new society, we are still building our financial structure, so this is a fantastic opportunity to shape how things are run from the ground up.
