The social secretary role needs someone who can:

Welcome new and returning members

Organise and run social events

Ensure people feel involved and included in the society

Responsibilities include: 

Keeping up with Sustainable Sundays (bi-monthly cafe meets to make an informative post on relevant, eco topics) - involves deciding on topics, with input from committee and society members, as well as keeping regular contact with a reliable venue (such as Chococo)

Organising relevant, engaging and fun socials for members

Reaching out to and collaborating with other societies 

Keeping everyone on committee informed on upcoming events, and making sure the majority of committee can attend

Being the friendly/welcoming person at socials, making sure that new people feel happy and comfortable
