As a welfare secretary, you will be involved in the society in lots of ways. A main part of the role is liaising with committee members, predominantly Presidents, academic and publicity secs to plan and deliver wellbeing related events and content. You will also be support other committee members in the delivery of general events. Some other important tasks include providing wellbeing resources and materials, attending specific training and being available for student support. You will also be required to signpost students to the relevant university wellbeing services should this be necessary at any point.
