The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial side of the MATLAB & Simulink Society. However given the way the MATLAB ambassador role has to handle event finances, this differs from a traditional guild treasurer role. 

The role will instead be focussed on managing finances of payed and ticketed social events (that didn't qualify for MATLAB funding) and especially managing the merchandise of the society (provided by MathWorks)

This role is ideal for someone who is organised, responsible, and confident working with numbers or spreadsheets. While no prior experience is necessary, a strong sense of accountability is essential.
