Position Information
We are electing 2 Co-Presidents, who share the role of Treasurer. Presidents organise the committee, group and finances so it’s important you feel confident to lead the group.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administrative work regarding events and trips and regarding thr group internally e.g. Risk assessments, room bookings, auditions, etc
- Organising BOSW, ICCAs, Edinburgh Fringe (accom, registration)
- Organising gigs throughout the year e.g. Old Firehouse, EGB and Uni opportunities
- Maintaining relations with other A cappella groups, venues and managers
- Looking after the busking speaker and microphones
- Co-organising events, e.g. A cappella ball, Fundraiser events, etc.
- Running committee and the group
- Assisting in the creation of invoices
- General management of finances and the Sweet Nothings account
- Organising subsidisation of payments like Fringe and Stash
- Budgeting for Fringe, ICCAs and any other events we will host/attend
- Overseeing Fringe fundraising events/activities
