Overview:
Plans and runs RAZZ events, submitting risk assessments for these events to the Guild and booking rooms when necessary. This includes writers’ meetings, workshops, socials and the print edition launch parties.
Details:
The Social Secretary’s main role is organising socials for RAZZ, as well as writing and submitting Risk Assessments. You're likely to be responsible for 1-3 socials per term, from brainstorming event ideas with the rest of the committee to writing with local venues to deliver the social. The busiest time of the year is Welcome Week, where you'll have to be organised and proactive to ensure all events are approved in time. It's a fun role and very rewarding to see members enjoying something you've organised!
