As Footlights Marketing Manager, you are responsible for the way the society is represented to the public. This includes publicising society shows and events, managing the social media, running the Freshers’ Week publicity campaign, designing and ordering members’ stash, and overseeing each show’s publicity teams. Footlights relies on its reputation and focused publicity campaigns to boost interest in being involved with the society, as well as sell event tickets, so the Marketing Manager is an essential role to ensure the continued success of the society.
