In many ways you become less a ‘producer’ and more a ‘company manager’ for a year. This is both the most incredible and the most challenging part of the role. You find yourself not only balancing creative oversight with the practical aspects of the process, but also the development and enjoyment of the 50 company members throughout. This can be strenuous, but it is one of the most remarkable things to be responsible for.
