Position Information
The Academic Secretaries are responsible for organising the Society's academic events. These will primarily be external speakers, internal debates, and internal help classes.
The Academic Secretaries will be expected to:
- Liaise with lecturers and staff of the three PPE departments in promoting the ideas of the Society
- Attract and communicate with external speakers
- Ensure the smooth running of events
As PPE Society is an academic society, successful academic events are crucial to our success. Academic Secretaries will therefore need to be able to understand what speakers and events will attract attendees and work in collaboration with the rest of the committee.
