As Academic Secretary, your main duty will be to plan and coordinate frequent events centred on neuroscience and its associated fields.  This includes arranging guest speakers, trips, and conferences.  You will also be responsible for organising regular workshops and other events to support and encourage society members in their academic pursuits. 

This position is newly established, so you will have the opportunity to share the role in collaboration with the president and vice-president.  Your aim should be to provide all members with access to the fascinating world of neuroscience and to foster an environment that promotes academic excellence and innovation.
