The Vice President is the supports the President in helping with general society admin such as event organisation/ approvals and risk assessments. You’ll need to have the confidence to be able to run swims when the President is unable to, which involves safety briefs and a knowledge of the water. You will also need to be comfortable checking conditions. The Vice Pres also puts up tickets for the weekly swims. You’ll be in charge of running elections and you’ll work closely with the rest of the committee to support them wherever you can. Most importantly, you’re here to look after EUOWSS members and make sure we’re treating Dawlish Warren with the care and respect it deserves. A good candidate would be friendly and approachable!
