As the Tech Manager of ShakeCO, your main role is overseeing and supporting the production teams for each show. This includes helping and teaching them about transportation, get-in/get-out, liaising with ‘Exetech’ or whoever it will be next year, making sure the necessary people are trained, filling out show reports and risk assessments, running through ideas, keeping to deadlines, offering help whenever it is needed and generally checking up to make sure they are okay. You should have some technical experience in lighting and/or sound to act as a key creative in our productions and lending hands on support during get-in's and get outs. The role also involves a level of creative input on productions and a close working relationship with producers. Candidates applying for this role are able to lean more towards the technical side or the stage management side of the role, provided they express their persuasion in their manifesto.
