Exeter Comedy Society is:

• A society where everybody feels welcome and valued, and where every member can get to know each other through regular (interesting) workshops and (exciting) socials.
• An amazing opportunity to find or develop your comedic writing or performance skills; across twice weekly Sketch, Stand-Up or Improv workshops, we can (practically) guarantee you'll be immediately funnier if you buy a membership.
• A producer of entertaining, high-quality shows in Exeter and across the country (we perform at Edinburgh Fringe) which anyone can perform in or produce for, including but not limited to:
  • Stand-up showcases (ooh!)
  • Sketch shows (ahh!)
  • Short and longform, musical and non-musical improvised shows (wow!)
• Pretty surprisingly fun! It's a brilliant time if you want to learn more about comedy, watch others be funny, discuss your favourite piece of comedy media or just have a good time with good people.
