Women and Law Exeter is a student run society that strives to draw attention to the challenges faced by Women throughout the legal profession. Women and Law creates a platform for the discussion of these issues amongst students, staff and professionals. Our main focus is on the lack of Women in top positions throughout the judicial sphere and thus the masculine bias of the law making processes.

Women and Law are a discussion-led, career networking, forward thinking focused society that supports Exeter's female law/non-law students to pursue a career in the Law. Our events cater to encourage an understanding of the current issues that Women face throughout the judicary, through networking and guest speaker events. We hope to equip our members with the resilience and determination to pursue their legal career, and not let the fact they are female hold them back or in anyway dampen their aspiration...
