Through dialogue, our society aims to increase students' knowledge about how businesses make money and how they are impacted by current affairs. In this way, students can prepare themselves for employment and stand out amongst other candidates. They will also become proactive in engaging with global news. Furthermore, members will get the opportunity to learn from other students, taking advantage of the variety of degrees and perspectives on campus.

- Commercial awareness is a quality that employers actively look for in graduates. Yet for many students this skill is underdeveloped.  

- Students will get the opportunity to engage and learn from students in other degrees, helping them develop a multi-facetted understanding of how businesses are being impacted.  

- Students will be able to learn via dialogue rather than passively. 

- It will also help students improve their communication skills and analytical thinking, assisting them inside and outside of university. 

- Commercial awareness is a skill that is typically possessed by the upper-class (as parents may have more exposure to business and current affairs), so by increasing the accessibility of knowledge on commercial issues, the society aims to improve social mobility.
