The University of Exeter Singapore Society has always been poised at creating a safe space for Singaporeans studying at Exeter. Moving to a completely unfamiliar and foreign environment, with a new front of being independent and responsible is inevitably daunting . Very often so, this milestone and new beginning unravels new qualities, skills and self-exposure as one becomes the paragon of fortitude. The society acts as a home away from home, where members can feel comfortable in this foreign land. We aim to achieve this through getting members to participate in the various events that we will organise in light of embracing Singapore’s intangible and rich culture.  

Vision 

We aim to steer the society to be one that operates well within these foreign waters and one that is open and accepting to changes. We want to be the source of empowerment; educating members with knowledge about the world and the various cultures that are present around us. Lastly, we will ensure that our members have a good grasp of excelling in their academics and understanding relevant career prospects for their future. 

Mission 

Our mission is to consistently strive to embrace and celebrate the beauties and uniqueness of each and every member, no matter their walks of life. We strive to include a growth-mindset within our fellow members, hoping to inspire them to reach their goals as they undertake this journey of unfamiliarity within Exeter. For many years, this society has been the heart of familiarity, security, and comfort. We aim to be the embodiment of being that society that one could fall back on as individuals venture into a new and exciting phase of their lives.
