The Catholic Society at the University of Exeter is an inclusive, friendly environment, where students can grow in their faith while having fun and making new friends. Whether you're a lifelong Catholic, or you're seeking to discover your faith, our door is always open to new members.
We're based in the Catholic Chaplaincy at (between Birks Grange and Duryard), where we celebrate Mass on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and host socials, prayer groups and faith discussions. We also have a fully-licensed and very student-budget friendly bar!
Mass Times at the Catholic Chaplaincy:
- Tuesdays at 12:00pm
- Thursdays at 5:00pm
- Sundays at 11:30am - followed by a free lunch
Our mission is based on three main ideas:
- To remember and spread the Gospel.
- Provide an environment where students can grow in the Catholic faith, while having fun and making new friends.
- Provide a wide range of events throughout the year, from talks, themed nights and society trips.
Check out our Facebook and Instagram pages, where you'll find our full weekly schedule and regular updates about the society!
The CathSoc is a university highlight for many, so come and get involved! We're really looking forward to meeting you this year!
