Aims and Objectives:

• Have fun, meet new people and eat delicious food with our committee members so to integrate more with Italian culture 
• Our Socials: Aperitive nights, Events with other societies, Pizza night, Movie night, Bowling, Languages Ball, Football matches (daje Roma), Briscola Tournament and many more…
• Run a yearly trip to Italy
• Run Weekly Italian Language and grammar classes
• Intramural Sports: Let's see who will be the first team to win at calcetto 

Ciao a tutti e benvenuti!

The Italian Society is a great place for everyone: language students, native speakers, people interested in the beautiful Italian culture (including food, loud people, wine and football) or just people who want to find friends with whom they have shared interests.

From aperitive nights to playing cards competitively, from football matches to bowling we offer a variety of socials throughout the year. And let's not forget about our Pizza night which goes hand in hand with a good night out!! This year we've secured a partnership with Revolution where society members can get great deals on drinks such as 2 for £10 cocktails.  Make sure you join the society and you'll have a great time!

To follow the Italian football passion we have a great intramural sports team where anyone can join the 6-a-side football team, aka calcetto. 

We hold weekly language classes (both conversation and grammar) which will give you the opportunity to learn basic Italian from scratch or to work on your existing knowledge of Italian.

We also have modern languages socials and events with other societies so to meet even more people!
