The elected Head of Training will take responsibility for the presenter training programme at the station. This will include deciding what a member is taught in their training session, the questions asked in the theory test and the minimum standard to pass. They will implement the process for members to register for training, and ensure the level of training is consistent. 

The Head of Training will be in regular contact with the Programmes Controller to identify any technical-related issues with presenting, and work to resolve these. They would also work with the Head of Technical Operations to agree what the minimum standard of technical knowledge should be for presenters. 

NOTE: An advanced understanding of using the station’s software is not required for this role – simply a presenter-level knowledge and ability to explain this well is all that is sought.
