As CSM, you will work very closely with the producers and stage teams for our shows in order to help them meet deadlines - this has given me a lot of management skills! The CSM is responsible to The Guild for compliance with current Health and Safety Regulations and, as such, the safety of everyone involved with a EUTCO event. This involves submitting Risk Assessments to the Guild and ensuring that everything complies with these regulations. I would recommend this position to anyone who wants to gage a deeper understanding of how a show is run behind the scenes. I found it very easy to manage committee responsibility and my uni work. Show week does get hectic but is also a very exciting time to be on committee. It has been an absolute joy to be the Company Stage Manager for EUTCo this year and I wish next year’s committee the best of luck!
