Position Information

Member Support: Mental Health Advocacy: Promoting mental health awareness and support within the society. Confidential Support: Providing a confidential and approachable space for members to discuss any concerns they might have. Referral Assistance: Guiding members to appropriate university support services if needed.

Well-being Initiatives: Organising meetups: Arranging sessions promoting self-care. Wellness Campaigns: Creating awareness campaigns or events focusing on mental health and general well-being.

Conflict Resolution: Mediation: Assisting in resolving conflicts or issues that may arise among members. Advocacy: Acting as an advocate for members who may require support or understanding in difficult situations.

Safety and Inclusivity: Safety Measures: Ensuring a safe and inclusive environment during dance practices, events, or performances. Promoting Inclusivity: Encouraging diversity and inclusivity within the society.

Liaison and Signposting: Collaboration: Working closely with other committee members to ensure welfare considerations are integrated into society activities. Referral Networks: Building connections with university welfare services and external organizations to provide additional support.
