Being treasurer is a very important behind the scenes roll that involves a lot of numbers and spreadsheets. You will be responsible for managing the finances of the whole society, setting prices of things we sell and deciding how much we can spend. You will be involved with nearly all areas of the society, primarily the balls, showcases, stash and competition team, working closely with the Social Secretary, Vice President, Competition Team Coordinator and of course the President. Additionally, your involvement in classes, memberships, freshers' week, charity fundraising, socials and performance team, will see you working with the rest of the committee members. They will require you to create budgets and process invoices as well as other financial forms and communicate consistently with the Guild. The Treasurer should be efficient, organised and most importantly confident with maths, excel and general finances. The society will be relying on you to keep it running smoothly and use our money to the greatest benefit!
