Position Information
The social secretaries are responsible for handling the society's social events and ensuring that they are fun, inclusive and varied. They will plan the socials in advance, completing any health and safety forms that the guild requires. In addition, they will liaise with bars, clubs and venues to get sponsorship and deals for the society. Lastly, they are responsible for handling ‘PPE families’, our smaller society groups. Social secretaries need to know how to integrate members, and so they must be approachable, friendly and entertaining.
