These elections have been designed for PPE society members to nominate themselves and vote for the 2024/25 committee. Your application should include a manifesto of up to 500 words, explaining why you should be voted for in the election and what you would bring to the committee. You may stand for election in more than one position, though you will have to commit to one role should you be victorious in running for multiple positions. The nomination process will be open for all roles from 9 am on the 31st of May to 7 pm on the 4th of June– as we wish for this election to be as smooth as possible, there will, unfortunately, be little tolerance for late applicants, so make sure to get your application in before the deadline!

Following the nomination process, the election process will run from 9 am on the 5th of June to 7 pm on the 8th of June, and the new committee will be announced on June 9th. The voting system for each system is ranked preference; you will be asked to rank your preferences in order, with 1 being your most preferred candidate, then 2 being your second preferred candidate, and so on. To vote, you will need to log in to your Students’ Guild account and make your way to the elections page; bear in mind that you will need to have a PPE Society membership to be able to vote.
