We are reopening to fill the following positions for the 2025/26 academic year:

• General Secretary
• Fundraising Secretary
• Publicity Secretary

Being on the committee is a fantastic opportunity, allowing you to learn valuable skills as well as be part of the amazing group of people that work behind the scenes in this society! It’s also a fantastic way to build up your CV!

How this election will work:

1. The election will be announced to all members via email on the 14th May.
2. The nominations for this election will open on Wednesday 21st May 2025, and the deadline for nominations will be at 23:59 on Saturday 24th May 2025.
3. Hustings will be held before the rehearsal at 16:30 on Wednesday 28th of May 2025 - if you're abroad this year drop me a message- gv291
4. Voting will open after hustings on 28th of May 2025, and the deadline for voting will be 31st May 23:59 2025.
5. The elected committee members will be announced.

You may run as a slate of two people for a single position, if you choose to do this, please only fill in the nomination once and list both your details on the same submission.

At hustings you will have an opportunity to speak for one minute about why members should vote for you followed by a few questions from the floor. 

Members will have the opportunity to vote for all positions whether there be the option of one candidate or multiple candidates. If members feel that there are no suitable candidates for the role, there will be the ability to select reopen nominations (RON).
