The Social Secretary is the heart and soul of the Latin American Society's social life. They are responsible for organising informal social activities that help members connect, build friendships, and feel at home within the society. From casual meetups and meals out to themed socials and end-of-term celebrations, the Social Secretary ensures there is always something fun on the horizon for members to look forward to.

They work alongside the Events & Fundraising Director to complement the society's broader events calendar with a regular programme of low-key, inclusive social activities that welcome members of all backgrounds and experience levels.

The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic about building a strong sense of community. They should be full of ideas, great at bringing people together, and committed to making every member feel included and valued as part of the Latin American Society family.
