XpressionFM Committee Autumn By-election 2024/2025

Election Information

XpressionFM are opening nominations for several committee roles in our 2024/25 by-election. Regardless of your experience within the station, any interested individuals are encouraged to apply.

The positions available are as follows:

  • Head of News: Responsible for controlling output of the station’s News team. This includes content team shows, Guild sabbatical officer coverage, News bulletins and coverage of significant news events.
  • Head of Sport: Responsible for controlling output of the station’s Sport team. This includes content team shows, interviews and commentaries.
  • Head of Drama (x2): Responsible for controlling output of the station’s Drama team. This includes content team shows, interviews and drama team plays.
  • Head of Marketing: Responsible for overseeing the station’s social media accounts and branding. Creates content for the station and aspects of its content teams, and presenters where sought. 
  • Head of Events: Responsible for planning social events, special broadcasts and station-wide initiatives, and supporting with alumni interaction.
  • Head of Station Sound: Responsible for creating and supporting station jingles and other sound packages, and leading the station’s podcasting support.
