About Us

About us:
We are a diverse group of adventurers and hikers ready to take you beyond the bars and clubs of Exeter to some of the United Kingdom's most breathtaking and sometimes challenging areas. We welcome thrill-seekers and nature enthusiasts alike.

We organise a wide range of trips throughout the year, from mountains to beaches and wilding camping to comfortable hostels. We also have weekly socials at The Old Firehouse and an annual summer trip abroad! If you are interested in being a part of our community and experiencing everything that the society offers, sign up now to find out when our next social event will be and what adventures we have planned.

We look forward to seeing you soon! Our membership includes most of the necessary equipment for the year, such as tents, waterproof trousers and jackets, roll mats, and sleeping bags.

Mountains of Love,
ExSoc Committee 2023-24

We are dedicated to sharing our extensive knowledge of camping skills, map reading, outdoor equipment, and hiking techniques with others. Our aim is to foster a safe and inclusive environment where everyone can feel at ease and benefit from the society, irrespective of their level of expertise.
