University of Exeter German Society brings the opportunity for students on campus to enjoy and explore the culture and language of German-speaking countries, and connect to other German speakers through our regular social events.

We have members studying Modern Languages and Culture, international students, native speakers of German, as well as those with a general interest in Germany.

Our typical events include regular meet ups for Stammtisch at the pub or Kaffee und Kuchen, fun activities such as bowling, and social events with other language societies.

All are welcome to join, whether you speak fluent German or none at all! Most of our events are free so you can just show up - we look forward to seeing you there!
