The Ahlulbayt Islamic Society aims to explore the Islamic through the teachings and values of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his family (the Ahlulbayt). The society fosters a sense of community and friendship among its members. We organise various events and activities, such as lectures, discussions, socials and charity projects.

The Ahlulbayt Islamic Society welcomes students from all backgrounds and beliefs. The society has contact with the Exeter AhlulBayt Community, who have a local centre holding events to commemorate important Islamic days including Shia ones. The society also collaborates with other Ahlulbayt societies (ABSocs) across the UK.

The Ahlulbayt Islamic Society will give students the opportunity to learn more about faith, Islam, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Ahlulbayt and Shia Muslims as well as meet new people and have a community.
