The Moroccan Society is focused on bringing together all students who have Moroccan ethnicities and backgrounds, as well as North African/Amazigh and Arab backgrounds. Moreover our society is inclusive and brings our community together with everyone who is interested in the strong Moroccan culture.
From the ancient Berber heritage to the vibrant rhythms of Andalusian music, Moroccan culture is a captivating blend of influences. Through events, workshops, and cultural showcases, we will celebrate this diversity.
Welcome to the Moroccan Society at Exeter University! Our society aim is to share the beauty of Moroccan culture and history with everyone, regardless of background. Whether you're from an Arab, African, or any other background, or simply intrigued by Moroccan traditions, you're invited to be a part of our community.As moroccans ourselves, we would like to introduce the moroccan culture and history.
These are our aims and objectives:
- To be represented as a community in Exeter university
- Raise Awareness: We plan to organize events, workshops, and cultural showcases to raise awareness about Moroccan history, traditions, art, cuisine.
- Celebrate the diverse heritage and traditions of Moroccan culture.
-We aim to ease the social lives of Moroccan students and those with Moroccan ethnicity by fostering a sense of belonging within our community. Our goal is to create an environment where they feel embraced and supported, enabling them to fully enjoy their university experience.
- Organise events that provide a sense of home and familiarity, reminiscent of the warmth and hospitality experienced in Morocco.
